Mosque-School Fundraising Campaign Launch
The AIM Mosque-School Fundraising Campaign was officially launched at a dinner on Sunday 13 June 2010. This special event with more than 450 in attendance, launched the first phase to raising funds for the building of a Mosque and School in Punchbowl, New South Wales.
With the Will of Allah (swt), this unique Mosque will be used as an Islamic worship place, a community centre and a school. The AIM Mosque will serve the needs of hundreds of families in Punchbowl and surrounding areas. The centre is hoped to become a beacon of Islamically balanced teaching for future Muslim generations and the wider Australian society.
The fundraising campaign is ongoing and we invite all generous donors to invest in this worthwhile project. The Divine promise of Allah (swt) in the Quran, chapter 2 verse 272, states that: "Whatever you spend in good, it is for yourselves, when you spend seeking only Allah's Countenance; And when you spend in good, it will be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged."
