Dr Zachariah Matthews represented Punchbowl Mosque and spoke at the vigil for Shaun Oliver who tragically died two weeks ago trying to save three young children caught in a strong rip at City Beach, Wollongong. The vigil, supported by legendary footballer, Hazem El Masri, was organised by the children’s family, the Hammad’s, to coincide with Mr Oliver’s funeral in Melbourne in honour of his selfless bravery.
